Itinerary
DAY 1: Cusco - Rainbow Mountain - Cusco
Pick up from your hotel around 4:30 am – 5:30 am; We head south through the town of Urco to the district of Checacupe (2 hours by bus) and then we will follow the road to Pitumarca where we have breakfast, then we continue until we reach the community of Hanchipata – Quesiuno (1 hour and 20 minutes by bus), starting point for the walk from here we will see incredible mountains such as Ausangate, beautiful blue lagoons and many other natural sites. DAY 2: Cusco - Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town) - Machu Picchu
The tour begins with breakfast at the hotel, pick-up at 3:30 am, transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo heading to Aguas Calientes. From there we will board a bus that will take us to Machu Picchu with a guide for approximately 2 hours and then have free time to visit the town of Machu Picchu or Aguas Calientes, where it is suggested that you can have lunch before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo, followed by a bus to Cusco.
