Tour Description

To Machu Picchu, a fascinating alternative to reach this destination is to enjoy a short but pleasant walk and provide you with an unforgettable experience in the archaeological center of Huchuy Qosqo (small Cusco) that presents various Inca constructions and spends the night under a starry sky and a sunrise with a complete view of the sacred valley and finally the magnificent Machu Picchu.

Pick up from your hotel around 6:00 in the morning heading to Tambomachay, where the hike to Huchuy Qosqo will begin. During the tour, you will witness various high Andean towns, the Qoricocha lagoon (Golden Lagoon) that attracts diverse fauna such as ducks, trout and, in the surroundings, llamas, alpacas, sheep and more. We will also pass through Pampamarca, a viewpoint that offers impressive landscapes.

After a brief stop for lunch, we continued the walk to León Punku, with unique rock formations. Finally we will arrive at Huchuy Qosqo, where a delicious dinner and camping experience awaits us.

After breakfast, we will have a guided tour of Huchuy Qosqo, views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the beautiful mountains that surround them such as Chicon, Pitusiray, Sawasiray, Waccaywilca and Verónica. Then we begin the descent until we reach Lamay for approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival, the corresponding lunch is organized.
